EHS Director Experience
Julie began her career in the insurance industry as a loss control consultant.  Her responsibilities included providing OSHA compliance assistance, risk management expertise and loss control resources to clients in education, manufacturing, construction, retail and transportation.  Her experience working with diverse companies enhanced her consulting skills and provided her with different strategies to employ successful programs.

After 13 years of experience in the field, Julie launched her own consulting firm, Soteria Safety, LLC.
Julie LaRose has 21 years of combined experience as an occupational safety and health consultant and environmental health and safety (EHS) director.  Her areas of expertise include OSHA compliance, risk management and training program development.  She is a professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
Consulting Experience
In addition to consulting expertise, Julie had the opportunity to serve as EHS Director for Staff Electric and the Milwaukee School of Engineering.  These real world experiences strengthened her ability to develop practical, cost-effective solutions.  This has enabled Julie to collaborate more productively with clients and has yielded exceptional programs and training results.
Teaching Experience
Julie is an authorized OSHA 10-Hour instructor and has taught the 10-hour course to a variety of audiences.  In addition, she has presented college lectures in Ergonomics, Product Safety, Human Factors, Risk Management and Occupational Safety and Health.
Speaking Experience
To share her professional expertise and success stories, Julie has presented at the Cast Metals Institute Conference, Wisconsin Safety Congress, REBEX and RIMS Conferences and Campus Safety Health Environmental Managers Association (CSHEMA) Conference.
